1. The service

CameraAdapt suggests camera settings and editing recipes to help you recreate the look of a reference photograph on your own equipment. Settings derived from a reference's EXIF are stated as facts; everything estimated from an image is marked as an estimate. Results are a starting point, not a guarantee: light, subject and lens all vary, and you are responsible for the photographs you take.

2. Accounts

You need an account to save gear, rigs and looks and to subscribe. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

3. Plans, trials and billing

The paid plan, Pro, is billed monthly or yearly by Stripe. Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial that needs a payment card; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel, switch between monthly and yearly, or update your card at any time from Account → Manage Subscription; cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period already paid for. Plan limits (such as the daily fair-use cap) are shown on the Plans page and in the app.

4. Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Charges for a period already started are not refunded, except where the law requires it or where the service was materially unavailable for a sustained time, in which case email support@cameraadapt.com and we will put it right. Trials are free and can be cancelled without charge.

5. Your uploads

You may only upload photographs you have the right to use for this purpose. You keep all rights to them; you grant us the limited permission needed to analyse them, show them back to you and store them for the retention period in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your uploads to train models.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, scrape the look library or gear database, reverse-engineer the service, probe its security, or use it for anything unlawful. Reference photographs in the library are credited to their photographers and used under their licence; the exported presets and LUTs you generate are yours to use.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for continuous availability but do not promise it; see the Status page. We may change features, prices (with notice before your next renewal) or these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
