Notes

Heavily diffused overcast daylight enters from a large window directly behind the subject, creating a strong backlit silhouette with almost no fill on the near side. The palette is desaturated cool grey-blue outside contrasted against deep shadow indoors. Depth of field appears moderate to shallow, with the mountain background rendered softly out of focus. Contrast is crushed in the shadows, lending a brooding, introspective mood.
